We are enjoying the first full week of our school summer holidays and after last week’s heat wave, we are now enjoying wind and rain. Thank goodness the kids enjoy doing arts and crafts! We have been busy making a bus bubblewrap craft to accompany the nursery rhyme “The Wheels on the Bus” and we have been using up our fabric scraps on some Minions collages.

As well as doing lots of arts and crafts this week with the kids, I have also been building in a bit of learning to our more relaxed daily routines. I have come up with a set of simple summer learning prompts to help us beat the summer brain slump. We have also been working on a money activity for Peakle’s Cool Maths for Kids series, which will be up on the blog on Sunday.

We also had our very first co-authored kids activities book launch this week, which has been super exciting and it is already a bestseller over on Amazon! To find out more  about Learn with Play: 150+ Activities for Year-round Fun & Learning and purchase the eBook at the introductory price of only $9.95 (normal price $14.95) then please click here.

Last week’s Family Frugal Linky was bursting with ideas for summer learning fun and here are my favourites:
