Family Frugal Linky – Thursday 26 February 2015

Welcome back to another Frugal Family Linky.  Frugal Family Linky goes live every Thursday
for all of your posts which encourage families to recycle, upcycle, save money
and time in a positive and fun way! Thanks to everyone who linked up last week, it was a week full of really great ideas and it was very tricky to pick out my featured posts.

I particularly enjoyed:
This yummy granola recipe from Mama High Strung
This great idea for a St Patrick’s Day card from Hodge
Podge Craft
This lovely idea for a preschool puzzle from Tiny Tots
Adventures
It’s been a busy week here getting back into the
school routine after being off for the mid-term break last week. Little Miss B
has been missing her brothers so much, so I have been trying to keep her busy
with lots of activities to distract her with until her big brothers come home.
We have made a spring flower collage using baking cases and we had our first
try of using contact paper in an activity. Full details of these activities
will be coming up on the blog soon. She also had a busy playdate with one of
her friends on Wednesday.

We took a trip to our local sealife centre on Tuesday. The kids love it so much and as we buy the very reasonably priced annual passes, we get great value for money over the course of the year. We were just in time to watch the Ocotopus playtime this visit, which the kids thought was very cool and they were very brave touching the starfish in the touch pool. They have a great play area at the end as well so it’s a great trip to learn and let off a bit of steam at the end. I find watching the fish so relaxing as well.

sure to pop over and see what my lovely co-hosts have been up this week as
