Doing arts and crafts with your children at home doesn’t have to be expensive. You can make a lot of what you need, using a few simple ingredients that you may already have at home. Here are a few ideas for making your own home-made paint:
Make your own Window Paint from Hands on as we grow.
Have a go at this Puffy Paint recipe from Teach me Mommy.
Cool down with this Ice Painting recipe from Messy Little Monster
This colourful Rainbow Flour paint looks fun from Learn Play Imagine.
One to take outside! Home-made Chalk Paint from Messy Little Monster.
What are your favourite home-made paint recipes?
We have been enjoying some lovely weather here in Ireland this week (well it hasn’t rained!) so we have haven’t done any new arts and crafts projects. We have been too busy outdoors in the fresh air, which is as it should be in the summer holidays. To fill the gap on the blog I have been going through my archives and I found these super cute Paper plate and Pasta Crabs that we made last summer to share with you all.
It’s time link up your frugal tips, tricks, crafts, activities and DIY projects.
