Frugal Rainy Day Activities

You can never have too many ideas to keep the kids busy on a rainy (or very hot day) stuck indoors and last weeks Frugal Family Linky was full of activities to have on standby.

Make your own Ball-can Game from Research Parent
Paint some Fairy Wings from Bambini Travel
Blowing Bubbles from Multicraftingmummy

We have had our fair share of rainy days over here of late and I have been getting back to basics with Bella in the morning when the boys have been in school. We have enjoyed simple set up water play activities (scooping and pouring, pretend tea parties), played with a cheap bag of pasta (threading it, making shapes with it, creating pictures with it) and we cleared out our making supplies and just went crazy with the glitter and glue.

What are your favourite frugal rainy day activities? Why not link them up below?

Pop over and see which posts have been featured from last week over on my lovely co-hosts sites and read their frugal tips for this week:

Are you ready to link up your frugal tips, activities, crafts and recipes now to be in with a chance of being featured here or over on one of my co-hosts sites next week?

Thanks
for sharing your frugal blog posts with all of us! By linking up you
give my co-hosts and me permission to use a picture from your post to
