recently received a nomination for a Liebster award from @itsninasblog via
Twitter which was very exciting indeed. The Liebster awards are to help spread
the word about new blogs with less than 200 followers. I had to answer 11 questions set by Nina and
then I have to make my own nominations and set my own questions for them to

recently won “Best Biscuit” in my hometowns “Charity Bake-off Final”.
- Why should people read your blog?
should read my blog if they are looking for simple arts and crafts ideas which
2-6year old can all do together or individually. All the ideas are our own and all the arts
and crafts featured on the site have been produced by my own kids, so they are
all tried and tested.
- What’s your preference as to which playing piece to be in
monopoly, & why?
a child I would always be the racing car. I thought it would help me get around
the board faster.
- What is your most used word?
husband tells me that I use the word and far too much in my writing.
- Given the chance what would you tell your past self about your
life in 2014?
long search for the house would be well worth the wait.
- Who is the most inspirational person you know?
- What are your feelings about christmas?
love Christmas, even more so now that I have children. Last year I hand sewed
an advent calendar for all of my children to share, which instead of chocolates
was filled with activities for them to do. It included lots of arts and crafts
and things like “Christmas movie night”. “Christmas disco” and lots of festive
- When was the last time you were proud of yourself?
was very proud of the Fairy toadstool cake that I made and decorated myself for
my daughters 2nd birthday.
- When are you at your happiest?
I m doing something creative. I love to
bake and sew and of course I very happy spending time with my children doing
arts and crafts.
- What would be your perfect day out?
perfect day out is a family trip down to the beach with our buckets and spades
and a lovely picnic followed by a big ice-cream.
- How do you get inspiration for your blog posts?
kids are always coming up with ideas on what they want to make and do so I try
to follow their lead as much as possible.
Trips out are also a great inspiration as well as thinking up
activites to match the time of year e.g.
Easter, Christmas, Mothers Day, Summer holidays etc…
